Is Upryst free for players?

Yes. The core player profile, photo, and video presence is intended to stay free. If paid features are introduced later, they should require explicit opt-in before any charge.

Who can see a player profile?

Approved scouts, coaches, and relevant club or school users can discover player profiles inside Upryst. Public profile links may show approved profile information and footage depending on product settings.

Can under-18 players use Upryst?

Players aged 13 to 17 should use Upryst with parent or guardian awareness. Players should not publish private contact details in public profile text. See the Safeguarding page for contact expectations.

How are scout and coach accounts approved?

Scout and coach accounts are reviewed manually. We look for a credible club, academy, school, or rugby organisation affiliation, a real role, a work or organisation email where possible, and behaviour consistent with legitimate rugby identification or development.

How long does approval take?

The target review time is 48 hours. Complicated applications may take longer if the organisation or role cannot be verified quickly.

Can a scout or coach lose access?

Yes. Access can be restricted or removed for impersonation, unverifiable affiliation, misuse of player information, inappropriate contact, scraping, harassment, or any safety concern.

How are feed posts, comments, and reports moderated?

Players can post rugby-related updates and footage. Captions and comments may be checked automatically and reviewed by an admin if reported. Reports are routed to the admin queue, where Upryst can remove content, restrict accounts, or escalate safeguarding concerns.

How do clubs and schools get help?

Email approvals@upryst.com for verification and onboarding questions, or support@upryst.com for product support.

How do I report a concern?
